To see more of Amie & Chuck's images, CLICK HERE

Amie and Chuck, they're not in Kansas anymore.  If I had to pick a wonderful and magical spot on the Oregon Coast for a wedding I could not think of a better place than Harris Beach.  What a perfect day it was.  It started a little 'iffy' with all the fog in the morning but it was a gloriously sunny day in time for the wedding ceremony.

Amie and Chuck had an intimate gathering of family to witness their exchange of vow and rings. There were tears, laughter and a lot of fun on the beach. There reception was in a residence named 'Whale's Way' with a beautiful view of the beach.

Great day guys! enjoy the rest of your stay in Oregon and keep on celebrating every single moment!

To see more of Chelsea and Adams images CLICK HERE

The clouds rolled in, thunder crashed, lightning flashed and the rain made imposing gestures but the show and the party must go on!

Chelsea and Adam were married on the patio at the Stone Cliff Inn, in Oregon City. This was our first time shooting at this venue. It has many varied and wonderful ops for great images. Apparently this location was used for several scenes in the Twilight movie series.  The grounds are just wild and incredible.

The ceremony was officiated by the Remarkably Resilient Reverend Tina.  The meal was catered by the Stone Cliff Inn, what a delicious meal it was!  Chelsea and Adam had a great DJ, David Bui, who played great music and kept the party rockin.

Great ceremony, dramatic weather, great meal, great music, what also could you possibly ask for!
I know! wonderful, loving, supporting family and friends.  Chelsea and Adam definitely had those, what a party!

To see more of Arriana and Dan's images CLICK HERE

The are many many wonderful reasons for living on the Oregon Coast. One extra special reason is the chance to photograph a beach wedding!  Arriana and Dan provided us with that opportunity this past weekend at Beverly Beach State Park.   Waves crashing, kids playing, surfers surfing, kites flying, lots and lots of people strolling along the sand and yelling. "congratulations!" It was a wonderful celebration shared by an intimate gathering of family and friends.

After the ceremony we all climbed into cars for the journey to the Grand Ballroom in Salem.  The meal at the reception was largely provided by family, bringing a variety of delicious salads that would have made any professional caterer green with envy.  Then there was the PIZZA! I love pizza at a wedding.  Nothing says 'fun, relaxed, casual party'  like pizza.

Thanks for a fun start to our weekend guys!

To see more of Becky & Doug's images, CLICK HERE

This past weekend we packed up our little RV and traveled to Bend Oregon to photograph Becky and Doug's Wedding at the McMenamin's Old St. Francis School.  We've enjoyed many a beer there but this was our first time capturing the union of two souls at that lovely location.

The skies cleared and gave us picture perfect weather.  Family gathered from near and far as no one actually lived in Bend.  The ceremony took place in the Henry's Courtyard where we later sat by the fire and enjoyed a beer.  The reception was indoors next to the Theater.  As we were all itching to be out in that perfect weather, we escaped with Becky and Doug to Mirror Pond for more romantic pictures.

As we post, Becky and Doug are on a 'road trip' honeymoon to Virginia,  their new home. Here's to a long and happy life together guys!

To see more of Shari & Joe's images, CLICK HERE

Now that we have moved to paradise (the Oregon Coast) there is not much that can get us back to old P-Town.  What with the crowds, traffic, noise and air pollution, it takes something pretty special to get us to spend a weekend in Oregon's largest city,

Shari and Joe did it.  They provided that irresistible situation that we just could not turn down.  They were married this past weekend and invited us to shoot their wedding celebration.  Shari and Joe are so much in love, their families were wonderful, the beautiful chapel at St Mary's is spectacular and the party was rocking with Nick, one of our favorite DJs from Sound Choice Entertainment playing the tunes at the Sentinel Hotel.  What a day!

To see more of Becky and Peter's images CLICK HERE

Becky and Peter got married last weekend and it was a wonderful event.  Actually, weddings like this are the very reason I keep coming back for more.  That and the cake, I love cake.

THEY ARE IN LOVE.  That was evident every moment of the day and after all, that is what really matters. Along with a great party, good music, a loving family an outrageous bridal party. What an adventure this day was.

The ceremony took place at the Immaculate Heart Parish a stunning and colorful catholic church on N. Williams in Portland.  It was a photographers dream.  We were able to shoot the entire ceremony using ambient light only.

The Reception followed at the Jenkins Estate out in Beaverton.  The old barn has been converted into a rustic reception hall.  The stalls still stand and serve as small dinning rooms.  We used the lush grounds for bridal party shots and romantics.  Becky and Peter made it so easy as all we had to do was point our camera and they did the rest.

When we left after eight hours the bride and groom were still going strong and set to dance the night away.

On the day of the Wedding, . . . beautiful blue(ish) skies accented with fluffy white clouds. Thank goodness the weather guys had it all wrong!

What a wonderful day for a Wedding. Michelle and John's Celebration at the Emerald Vally Golf Resort was picture perfect! With a golf themed Ceremony including a Philosophy of the Links as applied to Marriage homily, followed by a great party, a truly unique (and again golf themed) cake, the day was a success!

Jennifer and Harry got married Saturday amidst family and friends in a ceremony performed by Kevin Yell, proprietor of the Ainsworth House and Reverend Extraordinaire.

The lovely flowers and beautiful cake were created by Loni's Flowers and Cakes.  Catering by Laurie provided the delicious meal.  Speaking of the cake you will surely want to check out the creative way that J & H fed each other. Well done, just one question, is it true what they say about going au naturale under a kilt? . . .

To see more of Becky and Angel's images, click HERE

Noemi (Becky) and Angel were married at the Ainsworth House and Gardens.  It was the first wedding of the year held under the giant sequoia next to the grand old victorian that sits as the centerpiece to this beautiful estate. What a magnificent backdrop to their colorful and joyful celebration.

Becky's Father spoke the ceremony. It was heartfelt and wonderful judging by the expressions on peoples faces and the tears of joy.  Though, not being very knowledgable in spanish, that is just a guess, . . .

Family and friends gathered and expressed their love and devotion.  There was lots of color, laughter, great food, delicious cakes and many wonderful stories.

Thanks for the fun day guys!

To see more of Shaina and Matt's images click HERE

A little bit of rain, a little breeze, some sun peeking through, we saw it all at the Fairgate Inn in Camas Washington where Shaina and Matt spoke their vows and made everything tidy and official on this past Sunday afternoon. There were lots of family and friends to wish the happy couple 'Mazal tov' and send then on their way to paradise (Maui that is) for a brief respite from the glorious spring weather we have been experiencing in the great Pacific Northwest.

The bouquets, boutineers and floral accents were provided by Angel at A Floral Affair,  The ceremony was spoken by Rabbi Rachel. Music was provided by one of our favorite artists Susan Langenes and a trio from Collage Music.  The meal was catered by the Fairgate  Inn. The cake was created by New Cascadia Bakery

To see more images from Michelle and Todd's wedding, click HERE

Michelle and Todd were married on Saturday February 23, 2013 at the Ainsworth House and Gardens. The event was small in numbers but large in love and emotion, with close family and friends wishing Michelle and Todd the best in their new lives together.

We had just enough of a break in the weather to sneak out for a few romantic snuggly shots on the porch. Then we played with the bridal party upstairs before joining the rest of the family in the conservatory for family formals.

The ceremony was presented by Rev. Kevin Yell and tears were flowing from several family members as Michelle and Todd spoke there vows to each other. How sweet they were.

The bouquets, boutineers and floral accents were created by Kay Deitl at Flowers for you.  The event was catered by Chef du Jour. The dj/MC for the day was Stephen from Media Jockeys / Celebration Music and Events.

To see more of Katie and Matt's images, click HERE

Katie and Matt got married on a frosty January morning at the Ainsworth House in Oregon City. The weather however was the only thing remotely frosty at this wedding, there were lots of hugs and kisses, well wishes and warm snuggly looks being passed back and forth amongst the family, friends and significant others.  It was a wonderful day!

The traditional flowers; bouquets, boutineers, head piece and table accents were replaced by feathers that Katie the Bride created herself using peacock and other feathers.  They were beautiful accents of color. The Wedding Ceremony was presented by Fr. Kevin Yell and included some thoughtful and well spoken readings by family and friends.  The party was catered by Two Chicks and a Rooster.  The cake was provided by the Bride herself. Being a recent graduate of a culinary institute one would expect a an element of expertise and she did not disappoint, the cheesecake was delicious.

Off to Jamaica!  hope you guys have a warm and wonderful time

To see more of Chloe and Ryan's images, click HERE

The New Year is a wonderful time for a wedding.  Chloe and Ryan picked the perfect January Day to get married at the Oaks Pioneer Church, or maybe their weather karma was just peaking, or maybe it was just plain old lucky-in-love, cup-runneth-over, blissfully happy stuff.  It was a special day for these two lovely people.  The Oaks Pioneer Church is a quaint and adorable historic (previously episcopal) chapel that makes a wonderful backdrop for pictures.  Chloe and Ryan stretched that little chapel to maximum capacity and more with all of their family and friend attending.  The wedding ceremony was beautifully presented by Pastor Roger Moore (Moore Creative Weddings).

After the ceremony, flower petals filled the air and a limo filled the street. We moved to the Ainsworth House Conservatory for the dinner, catered by Sara Bergandine and the team at Art de Cuisine and the party MC/dj'd by Lynn and Mark of Celebration Music and Events.  The cake was provided by Pastry Girls and included a Grooms cake as well as the traditional and beautifully decorated Wedding Cake.

To see more of Kass and Ben's images, click HERE

On a brisk, clear, beautiful New Years Day, Kass and Ben started the new year out with a party like many people do, however, it was preceeded by their wedding and what a wonderful wedding it was!
The festivities and the nuptials took place at the Ainsworth House.  It takes a master gardener to create a property that even looks beautiful within the clutches of winter.  The designers and creators wth the proverbial green thumbs did not disappoint on this day.  Stark and beautiful I believe are adequate discriptives.  With the chilly weather providing incentives, we used the property in different ways than we normally do getting beautiful images while staying warm and cozy.

The flowers, in beautiful, vibrant, striking colors and creative arrangements were provided by Jennifer Agard at Forte Floral Artistry.  The ceremony was wonderfully spoken by Fr. Kevin Yell who also happens to be one of the proprietors at the Ainsworth House.  Kass' father played a wonderful rendition  of Pacabel's 'Canon in D' for the processional on classical guitar.  The festivities were directed by Nancy, of the Ainsworth House.  Catering was provided by, Catering by Laurie.  Once the party started it was taken well in hand by Kris from Prime Time Music with lots of enthusiastic dancing and even a limbo!

Thanks for letting us be part of your New Years Day guys!

To see  more of WaWa and Moe's images, click HERE

Wa Wa and the 'Z' man got married in a cold, clear, beautiful day in December.  Nearly the last day of the year and definitely one of the finest winter days I can remember made for a wonderful backdrop to WaWa and Moe's celebration.  It was held in the newly completed Abernethy Wedding Chapel with the reception following in the Grand Ballroom.

The ceremony was well spoken and delivered by Pastor Mike Wilde, Senior Pastor of the Laurelwood Baptist Church that WaWa and Moe attend.  The appetizers and buffet were catered by the Abernethy Center, the Dj was Aaron from Jazz It Up productions. The Wedding Cake and accompanying cupcakes were provided by Debbie Ruckwardt, a friend of the Bride.

The most enthusiastic dancing as well as the grand entrance was to a song called 'Gangnam Style', yeah, THAT Gangnam Style, quite the moves from this crowd.

To see more of Sophie and Scott's images click HERE

This was just about as close to a fairy tale wedding (in a tent) that I have ever seen.  Sophie and Scott were married Saturday at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Vancouver, Wa. under a veil of soft cloud cover with occasional drain drops. That's what the bright red umbrellas were for, right?  Wow!, lots of color, an absolutely gorgeous bride and handsome groom, family love and affection, the admiration of friends who attended the ceremony where there was a standing room over abundance of adoring guests in attendance. What a wonderful way to spend a day and a tremendous start to Soph and Scott's life together!

The spectacular flowers and much of the facility design and decorations were the masterpiece creation of Sophie's Mom who also happens to be a professional florist.  The wonderful ceremony was presided over, eloquently spoken and masterfully delivered by our friend and step dad of the Groom, Michael Perrie.  The catering was provided by Royal Oaks Country Club. The DJ / MC / Director of Festivities was Kris from Prime Time Music.  The cake was from Lamb's Thriftway / Gateway location.

Thanks for letting us be a part of your celebration, that was quite a rambunctious crowd, LOTS of fun!
