Welcome to the Aaronstadt Blog

Welcome to the Recent Wedding Page. Here you can see a sampling of ~ 30 images from each of our recent weddings.

Weddings are posted in the order in which we shot them. Alternately you can locate a wedding in the list of 'Recent Weddings' on the right side of this window, click on the link and you will be taken to the sample images from that event.

If you are here shopping for a Photographer, we may have a sample of a wedding shot at your venue. Scroll trough the 'Recent Weddings' (right side of the window, in blue). Events are listed by the couples name, the venue, the date.

For additional info on Packages and Pricing, References and Resources including 'Wedding Day Advice' and much more use these links or the nav links on our Home Page.

If you are considering using Aaronstadt for your wedding photography we really appreciate that! We have been telling wedding day stories, with images, for many years and could not think of a better way to spend an afternoon, evening, weekend or whatever it takes to make those memories come alive again and again for you.

What a glorious day on the Oregon Coast! Everything was right. Just the right weather, The perfect location, an exceptional gathering of family and friends (I wanted to adopt them all!) And, you guessed it, the perfect couple.  Did we have fun or what!

Meagan and Frank were married on Saturday September 20th at the Heceta Light house Bed and Breakfast.  This historic house is the original assistant light keepers residence for the Heceta Light Station.  It is amazing.  The views and the hiking opportunities are phenomenal.  Stephen, the InnKeeper was an exceptional host

Meagan and Frank got dressed in the B&B and then we ran around taking lots of great pictures around the house, on the bed in the tub, on the grounds, down at the beach.  They were so great to work with that it was like a wedding day photography play date.

Did I mention that they flew all the way here from England to get married? Know what else was super cool? I got to marry them!  After a very sedate and solemn ceremony (yah right) with beautiful music provided by Celia Canty of Heavenly Harps, everyone retired to the front lawn where appetizers were served as a prelude to a fantastic meal prepped and served by Stephen and Michelle Bursey, owners of Ona Restaurant in Yachats Oregon, and their staff.

The cake was provided by Sweet Magnolia Bakery in Florence. I saw many of the guests going back to the cake table to make sure they got to taste each flavor.

Well, thank you Meagan and Frank and all the vendors that made this day possible, it was a good one!
